Thermal Spray Processes Offered

Thermal spray cladding is a coating process used to apply a layer of material (i.e.corrosion resistant metals) onto a substrate, to improve its surface properties.Material in the form of wire is melted and then accelerated toward a substrate. Asthe molten material impacts the surface, it rapidly cools and solidifies, forming acoatingPAGE

A cross section examination of thermal spray cladding deposit shows the typical laminatedstructure: two different metallurgicalstructures are visible, and remain distinct. No dilution between the two materials occurs. The base material metallurgical structure is notaffected by the coating process.

Arc spray and flame spray are both wire based thermal spray processes that provide robust and cost-effective surface protection.

These methods are particularly advantageous for field applications: flame spray is versatile, as it adapts even to the narrowest areas, while arc spray is excellent
for large surface areas and automation. Their portability and efficiency makes them the perfect coating solution without heat distortion.

Cladding Solutions

Electric Arc Spray

In arc spray, two consumable metal wires are fed into a spray gun and electrically charged to create an arc, melting the wire tips. Then Compressed air then atomizes and propels the molten metal onto the substrate, forming a dense, strongly adhering coating,

Flame Spray

Flame spray melts a single wire or powder using an oxy-fuel flame and a carrier gas propels the molten material onto the surface.

Combined Solutions

Our team delivers a combination of metal spray and organic coatings, that meet ISO, NACE, and propietary standards for corrosion resistance. We offer application of systems designed for marine, chemical, and offshore environments.

Coating Types:
